Seriously I Was In Heaven And Just Felt Like I Was Floating Up In The Clouds!

Spreewald
TOMORROW I TURN  21 AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

AND I WILL ONLY SEND ONE MORE EMAIL LIKE THIS AND THEN I COME HOOOOOME

Just when I thought life couldn't get more wild, IT DID.

This week was voll cool, wie üblich. But I will share our MIRACLE that took place just yesterday, on Sunday.
BUT FIRST flash back to LAST Sunday. We were all set for Ruphi to come to church. she didn't. That day we fasted that we could find new people to teach, and that those already in our care, Ruphi and Familie Mit would be able to progress. Fam Mit doesn't have a car or even money to buy a ticket (their baby is big enough to last that long away from home now) so we asked at ward council this week if someone would be prepared to give them a ride. Amazingly there is a family that has kids the same age, so they had car seats that were fitting for the Mit girls. Familie Mit was excited, and they also have been reading daily in the Book of Mormon, even when it's been crazy. WOO. Sooo Sunday we went with the Sister, and THEY CAME TO CHURCH!!! They were really grateful even though they didn't understand everything. Just when I though it couldn’t get better IT DID. So we were sitting there in the third hour, Relief Society, Frau Mit was keeping her little baby quiet, and we were trying to entertain the daughter (she was too shy for Primary!) and then all of a sudden the door opens AND IN WALKS RUPHI STRUTTIN HER STUFF, and she just smiled at us and took a seat on the front row with her baby. My mouth literally dropped open. It was so unbelievably miraculous and wonderful. WUNDER SONNTAG. Seriously I was in Heaven and just felt like I was floating up in the clouds. We have not had any investigators at church since I've been here, and then all in one day THREE of them came. man. What a life. It was such a testimony to me that God hears our prayers and recognized our faith, when we exercise it! I know that our efforts do matter.

We had some awesome conversations this week. Sometimes my heart just melts for some of the people we talk with, and sometimes it takes all of my self control not to tell them what fools they are. I am so grateful for the example of our Savior, Jesus Christ. His love is perfect. He is there for me at all times, and knows how to comfort and help me. I am not perfect, but He is. I can't do everything, but He can. I know that He lives. I am so grateful I can share my testimony of Him with the people here in Germany. My testimony is so precious to me. So kostbar!

Tomorrow we are invited at Schwester Leuschner's! I am soooo excited.
Can't believe this is Megan's final week. GEHT'S LOS!!!!

I LOVE BEING HERE SO MUCH.

HAVE A PARTY TOMORROW IN HONOR OF YOURS TRULY I WILL MOST DEFINITELY BE PARTYING IT UP HERE ON THE STREETS OF DEUTSCHLAND!!!!

Liebe Grüße aus Cottbus,

NOCH 3 WOCHEN WOOOOOOOHOOOOOO

I am so grateful to still have three weeks. This week I got pretty sentimental. sometimes when I think of going home I want to cry!!! I love it so much and am enjoying everything while I can.

This week was voll cool.

Tuesday we went with a precious member to a previous investigator that like nobody could get ahold of for like 5 years. He talked a looooot but we were able to talk to thank goodness for the sweet sister there with us. He agreed to read in the book of Mormon and we are going back again tomorrow.

Wednesday we visited Familie Mit, they are pretty certain that they will be leaving next week!!! sooooo saaaaad. BUT as I always say, They are so faithful and they just know that God will take care of them. We talked more about reading daily in the Book of Mormon, and we read some scriptures together. They said they will read daily, even when busy.

Thursday we had a skype companionship study with our sister training leaders in Freiber, Sister Henrie and Sister Curry. It was SOLID. We talked about the Book of Mormon and having faith to find people who will listen to the Gospel of Christ. I was so strengthened and got so pumped up. Later we although it rained we had many great conversations. One in particular was with a lady just returning to Cottbus from a hard life in England. Even though she is not religious, we shared our testimonies and I felt the spirit touch not just me, but her as well. That was cool, to part from her with just a warm feeling. I love those experiences. That night we visited Ruphi, she is FINALLY settled in her new apartment, haha I love her so much. She gave us a little something to eat before we left.

Friday we ate with a family in the ward, I LOVE THEM. They have us over every other week. We shared a message about faith. They are really good missionaries, too. Haha the husband predicts that I will be married this year or next year. MAL SCHAUEN BRUDER KALLENBORN! They were able to share with us times when it's been hard for them, and how they got back to their current testimonies. I was grateful to be with them and have that uplifting time in their home. We went back to Ruphi and talked about going to church, the WHY behind it. We also directly invited her to be baptized. Sister Jackson and I really felt the spirit while teaching her, it was so cool. I could tell by Ruphi's little smile that she did too. She said she will pray about it. We are really working on getting her to church, she knows a recent and fellow camaroonian in the ward, so she WANTS to come. I know that will strengthen her testimony of the restored Gospel!! Sunday we were going to go pick her up but then her son was still sleeping so she couldn’t make it. Grrrr her time will come!! Later we stopped by a less active Vietnemese family, as the son had his birthday, they invited us over for the next day to eat cake!

So Saturday we went by a guy who said we could come back, and HE WAS THERE and came down to talk with us. We gave him a Book of Mormon. It felt so good to look him in the eyes and share my testimony of it, my heart was warm with the spirit. He is not very religion oriented, but he said he will read and that we could stop by again. He was way cool. After that we had cake with the birthday boy, and shared a message of the Savior's love. Then we visited family Mit and talked about the word of wisdom. SO GOOD. they are already living it, and agreed with everything. haha communicating is still a challenge but thanks to the Serbisch pamphlets they understand everything.

Sunday MY LAST FAST SUNDAY IN GERMANY. of course I shared my testimony. I love this ward so much. I was so strengthened from all the thoughts that were shared. We ate at Sister Kosak's parents, SO GOOD.

THIS WEEK we go to Leipzig for zoko. wooooooo. pics to come next week.

Wellllll I was really happy this week. the rain was probs the most challenging part. But otherwise we talked to some really cool people this week. I love Germans, and this country so much. I am really taking in everything about missionary life. I will miss it so much. I love my mission so much. I just can't say that enough.

MEGAN ONLY HAS TWO WEEEKS that is so insane. I love her and pray for her every day!!

I love sharing my testimony of the Savior. I know He lives and loves us. He will always come to us when we need help. The Book of Mormon testifies of His Atonement. We have a prophet on the earth today, Thomas S. Monson. I am so grateful I can be here in Germany and take part in this wonderful work. ES IST WIRKLICH EINE EHRE.

Heavenly Father Is Looking Out For Me.

February 1, 2016

THIS IS THE FOURTH TO LAST REAL EMAIL I WILL SEND HOME.

So next week we have a zone conference innnnnn LEIPZIG!!!! Yesssss victory!!!!! We are right in between Berlin and Leipzig, and I was just praying that we would get to go to Leipzig. AND WE ARE!!! (this means I won't get to see Sister Murdock and her Trainee though, that's the only sad part) BUT alas. I just can't stay away from Leipzig.  That's not till the 11th. still time before that.

SO THIS WEEK WAS COOl.

We visited Ruphi, our investigator from Camaroon. We talked again about the Restoration, and watched the movie with her and her seven yr old son. She loved it. In the middle of the movie, her son looked at me with his big brown eyes and asked "Ist das in wirklichkeit passiert?," "Did that really happen?" and I just felt so good that I could answer with a simple but confident "yes." I felt the Holy Ghost confirm to me that Joseph Smith indeed saw God the Father and Jesus Christ, and that They spoke to Him. This is really the truth that we are sharing with people! Not just a pretty story. I feel so blessed that I can share my testimony of the Restoration. Later this week we helped Ruphi move to another apartment across the street. AND miracle, the young member in our ward who is also from Camaroon was randomly there helping too!!! TOTALLY COOL. We have been trying to make something out for them this week, but this week Heavenly Father made it happen. She was so grateful for our help. I love her so much. We are just praying that when she is settled this week that she can make it to church next week!!!! She is so close to God, I love her.

Our little family Mit is also doing well. They made another week in Germany, so that is good! I really hope they can stay here until March at least. We were able to talk with just the wife about the Priesthood and Baptism, and she totally understood it. The language barrier is still a challenge, but we were able to determine that she does want to be baptized and that she understands the relationship with Joseph Smith and the restored Priesthood. Her husband was already baptized at some point in another church, but she understood, and was able to explain to him later, and THEY GET IT. Man sometimes I kind of feel like they have no idea what we talk about, but this week we layed fest that they get it. It may not happen until they are back in Macedonia, but I am just so glad to be able to teach them and know them. The elders came with us yesterday to give them all Priesthood blessings. That was a really spiritual experience. I know Heavenly Father loves this family so much and will help them stay strong. They are so humble and so faithful!

We were able to stop by a less active Vietnamese family who invited us in to join their visitors for a meal of Vietnamese foood. Some of it was good but some of it made my tummy a little sick. Haha, but the husband was talking a lot of Heavenly Father's love for His children, it was a really tender mercy that we could visit them.

Wednesday I was so exhausted and had a hard time talking with people. We were waiting for the bahn to come later that night, and I was just rubbing my eyes and praying for help to stay alert, and then (as I was praying)  the little lady next to me started talking to me. it was such a miracle for me! We were able to have a nice little conversation about Cottbus, and what we do as missionaries. Nothing huge happened, but I felt so good and it was a sign that Heavenly Father is looking out for me.

Challenging part of the week: RAIN.
Best part of the week: feeling God's love for the people here. And good food.
Things I will miss: riding the straßenbahn everywhere, how serious the ward members take greeting everyone in the ward before church, and just how much chocolate you can get at the store.

I love being here. I treasure this time to share my testimony with others, and to share my knowledge of the Savior. This week I have tried to thank Heavenly Father more for Jesus Christ, and His Atonement. I will never be able to say enough about my Savior. I know He lives, and I know He loves us. He is so ready to help us and to heal us.

HAVE A GOOOOD WEEEEK

alles liebe aus Cottbus,
